Mormon Vault a safe place

The dome of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is among the safest places in the world. This vault is located in Little Cottonwood Canyon, and contains historical and genealogical information of the Church.

Since 1894, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints have gained genealogical records worldwide. The microfilm copies (and more recently digital images) of those records are stored in a high-tech vault excavated in a granite block into the mountain, this is close to Salt Lake City in the United States.

Area 51, the Federal Reserve Bank, the Korean demilitarized zone, and Fort Knox some of the other sites that are on the list of the safest places in the world.
